…….DAFUQ?!

Really? I’m sensing a theme today. What the fuck is wrong with people?

I blame Sookie for Russell Edgington’s not being dead. If she hadn’t listened to Eric and didn’t drag Russell back into Fangtasia, I feel like he would have fried and no one would be in trouble. But, since she did Eric had no choice but to bury him in cement.
I blame Sookie for Marcus Bosman’s death. Is she had hooked up with Alcide, I feel like Alcide would not have cared that Debbie was doing Marcus and wouldn’t have killed him. But, since she was busy elsewhere Alcide had to kill him.
I blame Sookie for Steve Newlin’s turning. If she had pressed charges for unlawful kidnapping and attempted murder, I feel like Newlin would have been punished/arrested and would be in jail right now. But, since she hadn’t, he had no choice but to be turned.
I blame Sookie for Sam’s current predicament. If she had accepted him as her boyfriend, I feel like they would be dating right now and he wouldn’t be with Luna and nothing bad would happen to him. But, since she refused him he had to go looking for someone else and for more trouble.
I blame Sookie for Jason’s troubles. If she weren’t born, I feel Jason would have been the only child and he would have had all of Gran’s attention and might have grown up having different tendencies. But, since she exists Jason has to be Jason.
I blame Sookie for the global warming. I feel like if she hadn’t had those microwave fingers, the temperatures would be a few degrees lower.
I blame the ready accessibility of the Internet and cable channels for proliferation of some of the most eye-roll-inducing ideas. And Sookie. I blame Sookie always. For anything.

FUCKIN’ SOOKIE!
Can we make this a thing? Like #LIKE A CHAMPION, just when bad things happen.
Stubbed my toe? FUCKIN’ SOOKIE! Maybe if she wasn’t fictional, she could’ve been there to warn me!
Everyone just blame Sookie!

We need a flashing tag (like that thing UFG uses that blinks “Like a Champion!”). It should say “Blame Sookie!” I feel like “Fucking Sookie!” is soooo last week. lol.
No, seriously, someone with .giffing abilities needs to make one. :)

GET ON IT, GIFFERS!

That’s because if there’s delena, stelena fans throw a fit and don’t watch whereas delena fans will still watch stelena centred episodes. That’s the difference in the two ships. It most definitely does not mean there are less delena fans! It’s just some of the stelena fans immaturity showing.

As a matter of fact, after 3x19 aired it was the top-downloaded episode or something like that and it stayed the first in ratings of downloads for a few days. Whereas other episodes never get to that. It’s just some Stelena fans immaturity showing.

Also, the night Heart of Darkness aired, TV had a horrible ratings night in general. It wasn’t just TVD, and it wasn’t because of Delena. Ratings are hardly ever about ships actually, because the shippers take up about 5% of the total viewership. Also a lot of shippers don’t even watch live, they watch on livestreams which don’t count in the ratings.

A.C.C.U.R.A.T.E. I didn’t even think about it. The most of shippers in the fandom watch the show via livestreams because, excuse me, I don’t live in the U.S. Duely noted. I love how intelligent our fandom is.

Praise this post. I hardly ever manage to catch an episode on TV and I know most other people download, too. Ratings haven’t mattered in a long time.

Not as a fangbanger though. Eliza is a strong, beautiful woman. If there’s to be variety, make her a witch or a fairy - not a groupie.

It helps if you compare apples to apples.
 Vampires and Sookie
Bill did horrible things to Sookie because she was a mission for him. He became her ‘boyfriend’ under the weight of deception and continued to lie in order to protect himself.
Eric has done some questionable things, but he was not her boyfriend and, initially, didn’t know her. Once he came to know her, he has lied in an attempt to protect her.
Vampires and those who are not Sookie
Eric did chain Lafayette and mistreat him in his role as vampire sheriff. Lafayette had perpetrated a crime from the vampire’s point of view.
Bill, with Lorena spent decades wallowing in the blood of their victims. He killed sadistically and celebrated the spoils.
Eric probably has done some dastardly things as well to humans, but we haven’t seen it yet. So based on what we’ve been shown, when you compare Eric/Sookie and Bill/Sookie, Bill loses because of what he’s done to her, especially in his role as her boyfriend. When we compare the vampires and their non-Sookie victims, Eric/Lafayette and Bill/the 1920’s couple, Bill loses based on intent, alone. It’s good to keep in mind that even Bill defends Eric when it comes to Lafayette when he confirms that other sheriff’s would have done much worse to Lafayette.

Lala committed a crime against vampires fully knowing that what he was doing was wrong. Eric dispensed vampire justice to him, which may be horrifying to us, but was actually merciful compared to what other vampires would have done to him. Both Bill and Eric acknowledged this. And Lala acknowledged that his decisions and actions warranted punishment.
Sookie had done nothing harmful to Bill. In fact, she saved his life the night they met. And Bill repayed her kindness by getting her beaten to a pulp, drugging her, taking advantage of her grief to use her body and drink her blood, manipulating and lying to her about his reasons for being in her life, and keeping her ignorant and in danger under the guise of protecting her—and a lot of this AFTER telling her that he loved her. Bill’s actions towards Sookie were heinous and unjust and dishonorable. The only reason I ever give Bill Compton the benefit of the doubt is because I believe that he is a sociopath—a person with a brain abnormality that interferes with his ability to empathize with other people—and therefore cannot entirely appreciate the consequences of his actions.

This is entire reblog of why I’m Team Eric and not Team Bill…

Oh god. I just saw this other reply. God bless you people. <3
To be fair, I do believe that Bill came to love Sookie. But never enough to be honest with her by choice. Both in the books and in the show, Bill is only honest with her when back into a corner and given no choice. Perhaps if he had told her the truth - by choice - I would be more forgiving.

This is honestly one of the weirdest ships I have ever heard of. Though Maxine and, well, anyone will always take the number one on that front.

As much as I love musical episodes, this is NOT the type of show suited for one. At all.
